🇦🇷[…] El historiador del arte Robert Rosenblun situó el Alfa y Omega de esa tradición en dos obras fundamentales que articulan un itinerario común entre el romanticismo y el expresionismo abstracto. La primera es el Monje y el mar de Caspar Friedrich (1809) y la segunda Verde sobre azul de Mark Rothko (1956). Entre una y otra transcurrieron casi 150 años y sin embargo uno puede percibir en ambas un mismo clima que alude a la inmensidad, al vacío pero sobre todo al sentido metafísico que puede asumir la percepción del aire, la bruma o el agua misma, a través de un ordenamiento particular del espacio y un tratamiento del color. Podríamos decir entonces que nuestra artista hoy se sitúa en las vecindades de aquella distante experiencia sensible a partir de las diversas búsquedas que despliega en esta ocasión.[…]
🇺🇸[…] For some strange reason, in these paintings, that feature the Paraná as an exclusive subject, it is possible to perceive a connection with the Nordic romantic landscape and its tradition. Art historian Robert Rosenblun placed the Alpha and Omega of that tradition in two fundamental works that articulate a common itinerary between romanticism and abstract expressionism. The first is The Monk by the Sea by Caspar Friedrich (1809) and the second is Blue over Green by Mark Rothko (1956). Almost 150 years passed between one and the other, and yet the viewer can perceive in both the same atmosphere that alludes to immensity, to emptiness but above all to the metaphysical sense that the perception of air, mist, or water itself can convey, through a particular arrangement of space and treatment of color. We could say then, that the artist today situates herself in the vicinity of that distant sensitive experience from the various instances that the result of her search displays on this occasion.[…]
